So I use the word "nuke" a lot to refer to wiping device, restart and rebuild machines and containers, but now I'm wondering if it's inappropriate for the current age. But the word was useful to refer to a universal "wipe"/"destroy" kind of thing. I've no idea what I'm going to replace it with.

Any thoughts out there in the ether?

@xorowl I typically use "wipe" for erase and optionally reinstall, and "shred" for physically destroy device.
