Anyone know if we fixed the privacy issues with PeerTube (i.e. broadcasting your IP address) yet, or if not, if fixing them is on the roadmap?

@danielhglus I don't think, that it is possible to hide your IP on Peertube. As webtorrent peers need IP in order to send you the data. Use VPN.

@danielhglus is it even possible to fix that? It's built on webtorrent, and torrents are peer2peer. The other peers have to know your IP to send the video data to you, I think.

@danielhglus What's wrong with people knowing your IP? That's how the internet works.

@rocky1138 that part is fine, but I'd rather people not be able to make a log of which videos an IP has seen
