@stackingstones You are super welcome! It was good to see Pluto thinking and talking about these kinds of patterns. We’ve only voted once in our lifetime because we spent so many years in the U.S., so hopefully we can make an informed choice in 2020. Bonus points if she can make some cash helping someone out with their campaign tbh

@Malin we think about Canada a lot. we have relatives and friends there. people in the U.S. have very little idea what happens there (and have little chance of finding out, typically).

@JordiGH Ooh, is this the “religious symbols” ban we heard about? When white people start talking about how stupid religion is, they always turn out to be racist.

Also good luck with your application! We have a friend from Mexico City who is studying game development in B.C. and seems truly bewildered by the lack of cayenne in our candy

@Malin Yep, here, listen to this white guy telling you how the bill is about neutrality and not about anyparticular religion and then have him go on about hijabs:

Yeah, Mexico City affords some of us a certain amount of privilege and affluence that allows us to take cushy jobs in Canada. I see a lot of other chilangos and chilangas here in Canada.
