My home state of NC now has ICE members out and about asking folks in the streets and at their place of work for proof of residence.
Anyone unable to prove it is immediately arrested on the spot, and they admit they will then ask others nearby for *their* papers. This will lead to very visible mass arrests out in daylight in the middle of neighborhoods and places of businesses.
This is fucking appalling. I continue to be ashamed of NC.
