I just checked out tildes.net (on the suggestion from someone here, I think?), and wow - I'm impressed. In short, it's an open source Reddit alternative that, to me, seems to do a lot of things better than Reddit.

It's still invite-only for now, but I was able to request and get an invite pretty quickly.

So I just fully updated my old MySpace account with new profile and cover photos and web site so that in another ten years when I get an email from them, I can log in and laugh like I did this time at the images left behind.

It occurs to me that a fly learns how to untrap itself from between a curtain and a window in much the same way a neural net would.
