My first ever Scotch tasting (outside of home-experimentation).

First on my list was Classic Laddie. I have to say, I usually prefer cask-strength sherry bombs. This whisky isn't exactly that, but I think it goes to my favorites list.

Port Charlotte, is, for a peaty islay, surprisingly clean. I didn't try many of Islays, but I think this is quite clean - yes, you have peat, but the peat is clean and the whisky beneath is coming completely through.

PC PAC - very very oily whisky. Interesting, but I'll go fishing for more whiskys before I put this one on the shortlist.

Octomore - so very very creamy, infinite finish. If you're looking for a super-surprise for me, this is definitely one of my faves now.

Bruichladich 16 kind of went over my head a bit, didn't find anything special about it.

Bruichladich Black Art on the other hand was quite dark, supressed, very interesting and I'd need a few more drams to explore it.
