Every month or so I take my @PINE64 out of my desk drawer, charge it and install the latest nightly to see if it's daily driver material yet.
Each time the answer has been no. The camera app is unusable (lo-res monochrome viewfinder) and the whole UI is about 6x too slow.
I have no regrets about buying it - I'm supporting FOSS development after all - but if I'm going to use a Linux phone then I personally need one with about 6x the raw power.

This is a very good read though I disagree with the author's rejection of regulating data collection in favour of regulating data use. If you don't prevent data collection, it WILL be misused and then it's too late.

Just had my first client meeting (as opposed to Skype, Signal, Hangouts, etc). The meeting went fine but I can now say with some conviction, and a minor expletive, that the Zoom Linux client is absolute shit.

Today we were offered a front end development gig for a British company involved in advertising fraud prevention on mobile apps. However, its product is based around deep user tracking so we said no.
