@yakkoj I thought that about Secure Boot, but the various distros were able to work out a solution for that (I suspect because the UEFI people control Secure Boot and not Microsoft).

@yakkoj Also, I remember hoping TPM would be powerful enough to accelerate block encryption, but it's not really for that. It's more like a smart card chip.

@yakkoj (Which is another reason why they aren't worth $100 and people shouldn't be gouging for them. We've had similar chips in credit cards for years now!)
