god this dynamic motd won't quit
I disabled it on my system, but systemd (systemd-motd? syslog just says "systemd") drags the advertisements from Canonical down despite those never being used now
I wanted my motd to be "big gay dunsparce" and nothing else
hey, it could be worse... syslog could be getting flooded with zio errors and SATA controllers tripping out on safety (and the ensuing degradation of my zpools as they resilver onto spares to replace "faulty" disks that aren't faulty)
really... leave the server duties to actual server hardware. This shit happens much less frequently if you do.
