each time i answer a technical question about some detail in an area i am the designated "expert" i question myself and i am always unsure if i am not talking crap.
how do you deal with this?
@donavon thanks, i'll try to do this more often
@waldfee Probably a little of this as well... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impostor_syndrome
@wickedbloodfart definitely
@waldfee @wickedbloodfart Totally have the same feeling. "Really? You don't know this stuff? But this is basics! And you can't call me an expert because I can put two and two together". And the feeling continues.
@waldfee By being honest with yourself and others about your level of certainty. No one knows everything. From my experience, if you're not sure, it's ok to say you'll have to look into it and come back with a more informed answer.
