@saper It''s a slightly facetious title. Unity isn't a tiling window manager like dwm. You can tile windows by moving them around with keyboard shortcuts. I wrote about it here: vickylai.com/verbose/turn-unit

Maybe is a part of a wider trend that most users today run maximised windows only? Maybe the current "windowing" systems are simply obsolete?

Things to share information between applications became obsolete or reduced to their rudimentary form?

Not to mention mobile apps where it is almost impossible to share anything that does not fit into the clipboard.
