@trevdev i bought a license for it some years ago, but since nobody I knew was using it, I simple stopped using.
For my private contacts I had
to convince them a little bit. With IT people I tried XMPP/conversations, but for normal people T. was the way.
Btw: none of my Threema contacts has my phone number, thus we had to add each other manually.
Work related it has been easy. Some maior German/European companies have T.-Work as their company messenger. That are several million users. Therefore it is widely know and I never got strange looks when I offered T. as a communication channel.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
