Just deleted my WordPress install. Thanks to a video from @ChrisWere I've decided to go back to hand-coded html. I'll copy over my exported markdown files to start and convert them as (and if) needed. First need to make an index page and hand-code an RSS feed. I feel like it's 1996 again.

@uxintro @ChrisWere why on Earth would you do this? I hand coded a simple site for years. It was a waste of time.

@travisfw @ChrisWere Minimalism? Self-flagellation? Because I can? Also, haven't even looked at the HTML5 specs before, so what little skills I had are very rusty. And besides, it's not like it's a huge site...

@travisfw @uxintro TBH it really doesn't take much time at all to handle my hand-coded sites.

I find it less faff than Wordpress.
