@defries hmm, never made them, or tried them, covered in chocolate.
@defries I love to make Pfeffernüsse (Peppernuts) takes me back to Christmases I celebrated growing up with my family, including my great grandparents. My great-grandmothers' would both make those cookies for Christmas.
@chris so what's was the selling point for you(her)? My wife and I are planning to replace our phones in the next 6-8 months and I'm still not sure what we're going to go with. I'm thinking it may be Motorola yet again but the KDE Pine Phone keeps peaking my interest.
@chris I seem to be on/off Mastodon. I think having created 3 instances was not the smartest way to go. Plus I still have Twitter and Facebook to deal with.

Making A Way For Education Through Clean Water
All it will take is 20 people to each give $12.75 from now until the #GRMarathon day to hit my goal and bring another 19 people clean water. https://timn.me/2Kx7NEr #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
Bringing clean water to a village in Africa can mean the difference between their children having an education or not. Clean water has long lasting effects that will change the world. What better way to invest in the future generations.
@aardrian I believe you can annotate a PDF, along with signing it, but not full editing. https://www.hellosign.com/ There is also https://smallpdf.com/sign-pdf which is about the same thing.
@aardrian have you tried HelloSign?
Today Linux Journal shut its doors for good. All staff were laid off and the company is left with no operating funds to continue in any capacity... https://www.linuxjournal.com/content/linux-journal-ceases-publication-awkward-goodbye
As a developer and, in some areas, a perfectionist I'm always after better #development practices when working collaboratively. An I personally find value in the #commit history. As a #git user I appreciate Enrico's details on the proper way to keep a clean commit history.
The Case for Pull Rebase - https://megakemp.com/2019/03/20/the-case-for-pull-rebase/
@chriswiegman well, with a sale going on, and the need for another "tablet" in the house, I pulled the trigger on a new Acer Chromebook Spin 13 (i5/8GB/128GB). Should be here tomorrow. Going to be interesting to see how it fairs as my all-in-one device.
@chriswiegman grr, just realized that autocorrect hit again that was supposed to say i5.
@chriswiegman yeah, that's why I'm thinking one with an it, like the Acer or Lenovo.
@chriswiegman I've been eyeing either the Acer Chromebook Spin 13 or the Lenovo Yoga C630 Chromebook. I need something with 64-128GB of storage.
@chriswiegman saw on birdsite that you got a new #Chromebook what did you get?
@chriswiegman I too would love to see the day I completely leave Facebook and Twitter but I'm just not there yet. 😕
@chriswiegman I know what you mean. I can develop themes but if someone else does the design. Doing design for me mostly ends up being copying other examples into something more of a mashup. And it takes me forever. I've been just picking themes someone else has created for my own sites for awhile now.
