@chris so what's was the selling point for you(her)? My wife and I are planning to replace our phones in the next 6-8 months and I'm still not sure what we're going to go with. I'm thinking it may be Motorola yet again but the KDE Pine Phone keeps peaking my interest.

@chris @furkachi I could probably make the case about moving but then of course it will be on me to support them all trying to make that move. They all better hope that I out live them, or they will be up a creek if I die. 😛

@chris @furkachi yeah, I too have a legacy Google Apps for Your Domain that I have a bunch of family on. I don't see how I can get them off it now at this point. And I'm talking parents, aunt's, uncle's, grandparents, siblings all over the U.S.

@chris @ericmann this is one of the reasons I have a hard time even considering leaving Google. I use have used Google Voice all the way back when it was GrandCentral, before Google bought them. Even though I use my phone a ton, when I'm at my computer I don't want to be bothered with my phone.

@chris I seem to be on/off Mastodon. I think having created 3 instances was not the smartest way to go. Plus I still have Twitter and Facebook to deal with.

@aardrian I believe you can annotate a PDF, along with signing it, but not full editing. https://www.hellosign.com/ There is also https://smallpdf.com/sign-pdf which is about the same thing.

As a developer and, in some areas, a perfectionist I'm always after better #development practices when working collaboratively. An I personally find value in the #commit history. As a #git user I appreciate Enrico's details on the proper way to keep a clean commit history.

@chriswiegman well, with a sale going on, and the need for another "tablet" in the house, I pulled the trigger on a new Acer Chromebook Spin 13 (i5/8GB/128GB). Should be here tomorrow. Going to be interesting to see how it fairs as my all-in-one device.

@chriswiegman I know what you mean. I can develop themes but if someone else does the design. Doing design for me mostly ends up being copying other examples into something more of a mashup. And it takes me forever. I've been just picking themes someone else has created for my own sites for awhile now.
