@thomasE Hacker News (and its spinoff forum), a bit of Ars, a bit of LWN, some mailing lists (LLVM, Python-dev, and a couple of internal Wikipedia libraries), and some of the tech sections of the "news media" proper (Atlantic, New Yorker)
