Should I change distro?

I don't know if I should do some distro hopping before Ubuntu 20.04. The distro I would like to try are much less than when I was a distro hopper but the complexity of my configuration grew since then and this make changing distro much more time demanding.

Here the distro I would like to test:

@surveyor3 imo stick with Ubuntu but you could always shrink your partition and add a secondary os, update your grub then you can boot to either

@xorowl I would like to test how they are in my day to day use.

Should I change distro?

@surveyor3 sure! You can still do that. Set up the second distro for day to day use. You ever decide you hate it it will be super easy to move back to your favored environment with all your settings

@surveyor3 I’m a big fan of everything that elementary is doing but I tried 5.1 and felt a bit unpolished and slow in comparison to Ubuntu 19.10 (tested it on the same hardware and full disk installation)

I’d recommend trying openSUSE, it’s a really nice distro
