@DistroJunkie asked me a question and I wanted to try out the polling feature.
So, of the Linux peeps, have any of you ever compiled your own kernel?
I just learned that #Mozilla will abandon #IRC. In general I think it is a good move to look for something more modern. I'm curious what they will chose at the end. For me the three main qualities would be: #free (aka Free Software), #decentralized & #open (aka open protocols) http://exple.tive.org/blarg/2019/04/26/synchronous-text/
Librem 5 App Design Tutorial - Part I
Thanks. @fdroidorg inclusion requests have exposed a number of "open source" Android apps as having non-free dependencies and spyware bundled with them. This also means it is integrated with your phone through KDE Connect. Check it out: if your phone rings, your YouTube video pauses while you take the call!
The Kdenlive team released the 19.04 "Refactored Edition" version of the popular video editor today. Look forward to automatic audio-video splitting, configurable timeline layouts, different layout modes, and much more in their biggest release ever.
