Just set my android device to use my dns server ... holy fuck. That's a) a lot of DNS queries and b) a lot phone-home crap that just feels dirty. I might have to go back to a feature phone after this experience.

@secstate I installed pi-hole months ago and shoved my untrusted traffic through it.

I came to the same conclusion after seeing my phone being by far the top source.

Over half the queries sent pi-hole's way are answered by the blocklist. If I just put my phone on there, it'd probably be more like 80% or more.
