One big reason I'm still on Twitter is to get updates on the war in Ukraine. Replacing Twitter as a real time news aggregation source is going to be hard.

@rysiek @vwbusguy +1 I’m working on following a fraction of my current Twitter follows via nitter RSS. And then never logging in to Twitter again.
RSS rocks IMHO. I think it’s possible to make an RSS feed from a site that doesn’t provide one.
