i hope you can see, then, how an active-low urgent interrupt could be NMIB, or not-maskable interrupt bar, or NOT-UN-IMPORTANT INTERRUPT NOT

(does some math, cancelling all the negatives) so it's the "everything is fine" signal, in so many words

and then of course we get to IRQ, or Interrupt Re-Quest, a 2nd Quest for an interrupt, after the not-un-important not ok signal
