Just finished season one of The Expanse. Hadn't heard of it till the internet went crazy over it being cancelled, but really glad I found it. It's great, so far!

Today was half day Friday, and was exactly what I needed to finished up some TypeScript work I was doing on a command line utility this week. I feel good about the outcome, and the afternoon spent driving around with Milo!

@edwellbrook saw you worked on Marvel, thought "Hey, I worked on Marvel for Android! Wonder if I know this guy?" Then realized it was a different Marvel :) marvel.com/comics/unlimited

I got to @natep's place for Natefest today and was delighted to see a log suspended with some throwing tomahawks. I appreciate that our idle conversations sometimes result in great decisions.

I released a new library over the weekend to make in app purchases in internal builds super easy for testing. Here's the blog post: ryanharter.com/blog/introducin

Just ordered my third Galaxy S8. The US variants don't have the Mali GPU with all the bugs that the international version has, and its been a struggle getting an international one here in the US. 😑

Spent the last week at Google I/O and feeling newly enthusiastic about the things I'm building.

My Realtek wired Ethernet connection built into my motherboard isn't working under Ubuntu. Can't get anything from DHCP. USB wireless chip works fine, so it's not the router.

I thought wired Ethernet was the one thing that you could always count on just working.

Stayed up late last night reinstalling Ubuntu on my old media server to get a fresh Plex install and try out the new DVR functions. I've forgotten how much fun that can be, but also how much it takes to get things like that tuner cards and NICs working.

Always inspiring to read updates from people that really care about making quality software.
