If you're annoyed by the shit #Signal is doing, don't switch to the next centralized thing. They all tend to go bad after a while and you can't do anything about it. Use decentralized messengers instead, like #XMPP, #Matrix or #Deltachat. Federated protocols like them can't add features unless a lot of people agree.

Upgraded my work machine to #Fedora 34 Workstation (beta). Downloading: 5 minutes, downtime: 15 minutes. Flawless as always.
I was a bit worried about the new sound server #PipeWire, but I turned on my Sony headphones, they connected and just play. Fine by me.πŸ‘Œ

I setup a mirror for Almalinux at http/mirror.fidonet.io/almalinux. Hopefully it will be incorporated in the mirror list as this distro really needs more scandinavian mirrors.

Question!

I want to stream to #peertube from my android phone, preferably the camera

Is there any app that can do that?
I just find crappy ones, and non-free ones

Wow, Ubiquiti got owned HARD. Hackers got full RW access to their Amazon buckets and pretty much exfiltrated everything including all passwords/credentials used to authenticate to and manage networks that use their cloud based admin. Rather than immediate revoke all credentials, Ubiquiti made users change credentials on next login, which means if you don't often log in to make changes, then someone may have been creeping around your network for months.

This is a topic that's been circulating since early 2019.

Probably one of my best contributions to lurkers everywhere. :flan_thumbs:

I'm looking forward to seeing if 2021 can curate more #libreops folks into posting.

It's more than a hashtag, it's a space to learn and collaborate.

I really enjoyed the @fsf #libreplanet talks in-between changing diapers! Looking forward to the talks to be uploaded since I missed the morning sessions on both days, and sometimes I want to watch more than one concurrent talks.

I upgraded to #Fedora 34 (beta) recently. I am loving #GNOME 40 so far on my laptop. :)

I'm going to wait a couple of days. I will switch to Fedora #Silverblue 34 when I back everything up.
