Reading about HAProxy ingresses and just simple X-Forwarded-For/IP/Proto headers gives me headaches.

I dont know why it is so hard to write documentation that stupid people like myself can understand

Finally got around to unboxing my #Lexmark #printer. Works fine once I a) remembered to actually be on the right network, and b) use the #CUPS web interface, since somehow the automatically configured device is wrong.

Wow, seeing that interface was nostalgic.

Mouting the drive with WebDAV is slow also,

@keyoxide alone is enough reason to use #OpenPGP. #distributed #identity #proof done right!

Thanks @yarmo for this brilliant development - it's infinitely better than keybase.io which is overly centralized and pivoted to cryptocurrency.

@IzzyOnDroid @ConnyDuck The Funkwhale App was rejected because it provides access to adult content while we state its usable for minors as well. I am wondering how a browser got into the play store...

This is extremely disappointing to see from @humble.
(The short version: Beginning in February you'll be required to use their new Windows-only launcher to download all games)

It seems that #LinuxConfAU is not that well announced in many #Linux #podcast series, and @returntrip and I were wondering if it's because most #podcasts are US based.

That begs the question though, are there #Australian Linux / #FOSS / #FLOSS podcasts out there? And how to find them, or indeed podcasts based in other countries? A cursory search doesn't find such, or a useful listing, so hoping #AskFediverse will come to the rescue

If I'm gonna get a job where I operate enterprise-grade #Linux servers, I think I better learn how to use #RHEL based distros. So I think I'll try to experiment with #Fedora and #RockyLinux. I've never really explored much in the RHEL branch, I've only really explored the #Debian and #Arch branches. I get the impression that a lot of Linux servers use RHEL based distros, so I think it might be very valuable to learn.

We are doing some final prep for the server migration, we'll be down for a while <3
