Anyone got any ideas for how to get Linux adopted, that aren't just victim-blaming Windows users?

@octet33 since most people would think "oh, linux is all about commands" we should probably show them that there are GUI apps for pretty much everything

@octet33 additionally, the "i can't game on linux" argument may appear; show them steam on linux and proton (although proton isn't perfect)

@octet33 or "i can't use word on linux"

1. wine
2. libreoffice has an office-like theme that's built into the newer versions

@octet33 and same goes for any windows programs really; first try alternatives, then wine, then if it's really bad a VM maybe

@knuxify I think part of the problem is, people don't feel comfortable trusting alternatives, or WINE.
