Tracing people in photoshop... Damn this takes even more time than I assumed.

"My list of over 600 web development feeds" by Šime Vidas

It's interesting to see how Šime managed to stay on top of so many web development trends. I used to follow Web Platform Daily religiously because it was the best source of news in the industry. Seems it relied on a big list of RSS feeds, including commits to various W3C/WHATWG repos.

"WebRender newsletter #28" – Mozilla Gfx Team Blog

At first I thought WebRender was basically the same as Edge's independent rendering (i.e moving rendering to a background thread), but based on this post it seems a lot more ambitious actually. Interesting stuff, and kudos to the Firefox folks for opening up on their thought process.

38.7c in the morning I hope it's not pneumonia comeback.

Oh why modern movies can't be more like Motion Picture?

No fighting just wonder, intellectual challenge and hope.

RIP Paul Allen. Your deal with IBM for MS-DOS was perhaps the greatest business deal of all time. I hope to get to see your Computer Museum soon!

Binge watching still not sure on s2e5 if this is worth my time.

Google+ will be shut down 😢 I've used it to share stuff with my hobby groups and family.

Is there an open source microblogging application that gives me option to securely share pictures & posts with single individuals or groups?

Hey everyone! Timelines question.

Now I'm trying a build of #Tusky with cache. It shows you your previous toots and loads new ones on top.
The problem is that if you scroll down it will not auto-load things, you have to fill the gap manually all the time.
Is it the same in other apps? Can we improve it? Thx

There's someone in my feed with the display name Remetheus, and it just kind of stuck in my head. Like, I get the joke, it's the opposite of Prometheus, right?

The well-actually classics nerd trapped at the back of my brain would like you to know that Prometheus ("forethought") had a brother named Epimetheus ("afterthought"), and wants to know if that's the word you were looking for.

This is not a criticism. It's just what my brain is doing.

Finally got the time to rewatch Cannonball Run.

Dom DeLuise, Burt Reynolds, Roger Moore, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr.

Unless you have a very good reason not to, or are publicly known anyway, there is really no need for you to use your real name or photo online.

Back in the 90s when i first discovered the internet, this was common knowledge. Nobody used their real name on forums or share personal information without considering the consequences. Those few who did were promptly told that's a bad idea.

It seems somehow we unlearned this, right when corporations started monetizing that information.

series. Damn good those first 10 episodes. Sluggish beginning but after that... and that season finale... Can't wait to get next season.
