Transformers is the worst modern trash bullshit I've ever seen.
And I say that after watching the Fast&Furious movies, which now seems like a sweet afternoon amusement to me.
I have stopped watching and playing anything high-budget around a year ago.
Saves both time and art taste buds.
Basically the thing is that one can make a film to stick out by either:
a) Having thought-through content with original ideas and/or distinctive artstyle.
b) Piling up a ton of paid labor so that this pile is seen miles away no matter the quality.
If you have money, just avoid sharp themes and be a polished goo.
Anything that accumulates viewers can be a financial success.
