@f2k1de well, I can understand why github exists: Because it is a company that has employees and makes money.

But gogs is a open source project that was forked and superceeded by another project that succeeded really fast... so why does development on gogs still continue? I mean, I can understand that there are always enthusiasts that keep a forked project running (think openoffice, but it does not really compare)...

But I am amazed that people still choose gogs over gitea!

just because some people forked it the original maintainer(s?) didn't automatically lose interest in their project, i suppose?
