Remember the days, when bookmark management tools in all possible ways popped out of the ground like mushrooms from well fertilized forest soil?
Time does not only heal wounds.
Many of those hyped bookmark and content curation tools have been extinguished in the meantime.
Some, however, have survived the hype, they are better than ever and continuously surprising with exciting features.
On of those tools in my opinion ist https://start.me, founded in 2014.
depression is hitting hard today. wish i knew why. usually work depresses me, and it's nothing specific about this job. i just don't like working. i don't like feeling trapped. i don't like feeling like i don't have a choice. but not liking it... why does it make me sad? and why don't i figure out what to do about it?
Kinda miss my parasocials on the old birdsite right now. One of the big differences: there were a lot of local people whom I’ve met and hung out with there. Not so here. I don’t think there’s anyone geographically nearby on Mastodon, which *shouldn’t* matter, and yet it kinda does. (btw I’m in Portland, Maine USA).
Reading about the Carrington Event and imagining the apocalypse if that happened because apparently that’s how I spend my Saturday afternoons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrington_Event
He/Him. Grumpy programmer (Python, Android, other stuff). Vegetarian. Marxist-Leninist. Occasional musician (learning Ableton rn). I'll follow back almost anyone. Portland, Maine USA.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
