Hello fediverse! https://lib.reviews/ is a free/open/nonprofit alternative to proprietary review sites like #Goodreads, #Yelp, #IMDB.
It plugs into #opendata sources: #Wikidata, #OpenLibrary and #OpenStreetMap (OSM integration is very basic at this point). Still a long way to go but we have a small community and lots of reviews already. @lib_reviews awesome project. yalls plan on down the line getting a rating/cataloging frontend like imdb, rateyourmusic/sonemic, or letterboxd, or is it gonna strictly be a review thing?
@mirzaba At minimum, we want to add support for review-less ratings (similar to the IMDB review/ratings distinction).
Cataloging is probably out of scope (and there are other free/open projects like https://inventaire.io/ that are taking that on), but ultimately it's up to what the community of developers wants to work on :)
