@mdszy honestly digital ocean is the cheapest you'll find and if you're having issues their wiki is a really good place to go, or chat to one of their customer support reps. Never had issues with them and been a customer for many years now.
Hey al! We are a runner up to be accepted on another exchange, C-Patex. Woohoo!
If you can spare a small amount of coin and head over and vote for us to be listed next, please do!
@uuksu there's a fair bit of that on the fediverse in general, no escaping it if you're not into it. 😆
@uuksu Don't check mastodon too much (trying to get in the habit of going do) but from what I see on the federated/public timeline, content seems great and not to much horse shit pops up.
@uuksu yeah, admins have control on what instances (or even users) to block from public timeline. Don't think they have control on home timeline however.
@uuksu don't quote me on this but I think the public timeline shows all public toots on all instances local users follow other users on.
@fortune What if you use scotch as toothpaste 😝
@ZoeyGlobe I've been using Pop!_OS by System76 for the past few weeks. It'd based on Ubuntu so it's very easy to use but isn't controlled by Canonical so you don't need to worry about Canonical's bullcrap spyware and whatnot. Recommend giving it a try.
Been using @firstname.lastname@example.org's Pop!_OS for the past 2 weeks. Actually quite enjoy using it, it's simple easy to use, modifications of @email@example.com aren't to extreme unlike @firstname.lastname@example.org. Recommend it to anyone new or old to #Linux.
You can now store your #x0z on Magnum wallet! Give it a spin now. https://twitter.com/CalemJohnSmith/status/1143091791178035200
Real life Cyborg.
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either! We adhere to an adapted version of the TootCat Code of Conduct and have documented a list of blocked instances. Ash is the admin and is supported by Fuzzface, Brian!, and Daniel Glus as moderators. Hosting costs are largely covered by our generous supporters on Patreon – thanks for all the help!
