Would love to get thoughts on managing a remote resource who has oversold their ability and subsequently undersold hrs required to complete a large UI piece?
I will have to resolve this by calling in additional resources / eating credit hrs... but in future would like to work with the eng. to try to understand where we went wrong.

I think it's telling that the dude who wrote that bad thinkpiece about masto was pissed that he can't find or follow like a damn actor or whatever-- he isn't coming here to talk to people they know or to get Cool Updates from people in their actual field, he's here to follow a fucking actor
One of my colleagues doesn't seem to understand the limitations of Bluetooth (distance) with his new headphones... second time he's left the office with his headphones and had them disconnect in the hallway only to have his music switch to playing out of his laptop :joy: :confused:

Mastodon excites me because it's the closest thing to "twitter as a protocol" that we have so far. Let's see how it goes
