Kontact, KDE's email, calendar, contact, itinerary and life organizer, keeps getting better and better.

New stuff includes: colored emojis 😎 , grammar correction and markdown built into Kmail; integrating KCalCore (calendar engine) and KContacts (addressbook engine) into KDE Frameworks 5; and cleaning up code and squashing bugs in general.

@kde time to try it out again, with CalDav and CardDav. Last time it didn't work properly…


Looks like kdepim still tightly bound with Akonadi, even if I just want to install and use Akregator…

You can install akgregator standalone, without installing akonadi or kde-pim.



Can I? Then it must be packager's excellent work to bound the dependencies. 😁
