KDE helped NASA reach Mars and now we're helping James Cameron reach Pandora in the sequels. Lisa Su of AMD shows off video effects software running on KDE Plasma.

@kde I don't believe it. This *is* KDE. How can it be? What software are they running? Why are they running linux? What's in it for them?

Also, how do the VR gear work with linux? I thought the support was still bad.

I'd never have thought this industry would adopt linux when videogames still don't really have.

The movie industry uses more and more linus. They even started a crossover project for better linux in the movie industries

@kde Which softwares are being used in it ? Would love to know

@subins2000 @kde
I think it's custom proprietary softwares, but I may be wrong.
