9: Bar Analogy

We discuss whether git repositories belong in Dropbox, when the next iPhone will be announced, and alternatives to Twitter.

Friend: “Can send me some of your ab workouts?”
Me: “You want my Core Data?”
Former-Friend: “...”

Ok, let's try an experiment. You can use this page to sign up for Toot!:

It will remain open as long as I dare, and hopefully I won't run completely out of beta tester slots!

And remember, not everything works yet! Report bugs at github.com/DagAgren/toot/issue, but remember to check if they are already there!

Another workflow I use every day is a special Bookmark flow.

It prefixes a URL with a time stamp, then appends it to a file in Dropbox. Then externally that file is parsed for changes, scrapes the new URL's and converts the content to markdown. I call it bookmarkdown 😉.

Once logged in, you can do things like get a list of folders:

Or a 'URL' action that logs in, gets a list of folders, then adds the URL to that folder and automatically works out the feed URL. All without leaving other apps.

So I've started playing with the API support in Workflow. Really liking it.

First off, a workflow intended to be run from other workflows. It just into NewsBlur.com in prep for more API calls.
