Why we can't have nice things:

@jtr DuckDuckGo is a meta-search engine, they can only return what Bing, Yandex, etc. give them. Unless they're going to exclude/block specific domains from the results, I don't see how DuckDuckGo will be better for conspiracy theorists.


@jaywilliams I didn't know they index from others. Is that so? Then this is brilliant. Is it possible though that they get raw results before some filtering is applied?

@jtr They could pre-process the results to filter/weed out certain things, but they don't index the web with their own spiders. (At least not with any amount of volume worth mentioning.) In my server logs I see the following bots: 1. Google 2. Bing 3. Yandex
