When I update my packages in #emacs it tells me I have some 30 something packages I don't need and suggest that I auto remove them.
Doing so results in removing packages that are in use - I think it actually removes ALL the packages. Does someone know how the autoremove work and why it might not in my case?
@jrss I think it relies on the package list in custom-set-variables, which will not be updated if you use use-package or similar.
@rzg I do use it, but not for everything...? I don't think.
So the alternative is to go in there and do it manually eh?
@jrss My solution has been not to remove anything :)
Once in a while I start clean, and let use-package get everything.
