Food, cooking

One thing that surprises me is how Spain has many super savory yet simple dishes that haven't become well-known outside its borders.

One such dish is this: eggs, potatoes, Spanish ham strips and small peppers (these ones are Padrón peppers), fried with some garlic in olive oil, add some salt, and you're done. Not exactly healthy, but tasty and nice.

This was our dinner today and I am fuuuuull😊

Nudity, Swedish children's book

Even after 3 years living here, Sweden still surprises me. This is a children's book that's sold in the biggest bookstores in Sweden right now. The title is literally "Naked butts" (or maybe, "only butts"?

This seems to be the author's blog:

I'm at this playground in Stockholm, and there's this drawing of a Windows XP dialog in there. The dialog says: "File not found. Do you want a yoghurt instead?"

The actual WinXP should have had the same text

Our two and a half year old kid loves music. Today he's been watching youtube videos of people playing piano. I love this

The one important thing I've discovered in my life is how to properly cut a pepper open: cut through the ridges; pull open; remove white walls. Done.

It's nicer this way, as almost all the seeds remain attached to the stem, and cleaning the pepper becomes a lot easier.

I hope this helps you! ☺️

Ok, I just implemented preliminary support in Recense for storing a local copy of the links you add, as well as storing a thumbnail 🕺

That side-project I've talked a bit about? It's a link storage service. Basically, a place to store links you don't want to forget about.

And I just implemented Markdown support for their descriptions, so you can actually put whatever you want in there

Huh, I put my shoes in the washing machine (they really needed it), and they came out with the hole pattern of the washing machine's drum imprinted on the fabric.

I guess I'll be extra fashionable today 🤷🏻‍♂️

After 4 years separated, we're finally together. I've missed you, you steampunk beauty

Conversation in the company chat. Seagulls are nesting in our terrace. Terrace is canceled

At work we have a big TV in the kitchen that's supposed to show dashboards and relevant info. Someone had a better idea:

Just saw this at the beach.

A bored dad is dangerous if not contained

Months ago, someone brought the cassette tape to the office. Today, someone brought a cassette *player* they found in the trash.

We're now programming while listening to I Believe In Miracles by Hot Chocolate on a cassette player hooked up to a TV. I love this

Well, the toothpaste tube decided to burst on one side and now I have a toothpaste "bag" instead. Unsure as to how to proceed. Suggestions?

Hoooo boy! High exec posting about controversial topic on a channel that's read-only for normal employees... but where employees can post emojis.

Bring in the popcorn!

Selfie, eye contact

There's a Spanish saying that goes "Ande yo caliente, ríase la gente".
Roughly, "As long as I'm warm, people can laugh all they want"

Never in my life has this felt so true as during Swedish winters, and with this awesome hat!

Holy crap, I'm waiting for a package, and this delivery company allows you to track the GPS position of the delivery guy *in real time*. This is scary, awesome, horrible, dangerous and amazing. All at the same time
