When you write code without reading the docs but somehow it works.

Sometimes I ask myself why I love c++ so much.
Maybe it's because I never had to deal with shitty legacy code written by people that doesn't understand technology.
Maybe it's because PHP is hacky in so many ways that is quite hard to not make mistakes.

I waited 3 months for linux distros to update to latest mesa, so I can take advantage of a bug-fix.
But now I don't remember the exact code I wanted to make. Everything I try breaks.

My choice is between a fairly functional desktop that I trust to basically not have ulterior motives, or a fairly functional desktop that in some instances is actively hostile to me.
