Anyone knows a good hosting provider that gives you the same root-access that #Linode gives?
It must be hosted in Europe, preferably in Germany or a country nearby.

@jlhertel I am a fan of https://vds6.net/ for super cheap instances. I think they have Netherlands and Italy if that works for you.
I've had some good experiences with OVH: https://www.ovh.co.uk/ .
There is small Polish cloud: https://www.oktawave.com/en .
Gandi is French: https://www.gandi.net/en . I use their DNS services and I'm happy with them, but they also have some hosting solutions.
@iJeff_X hetzner seems a good option, but their offers are very confusing.
At least I haven't understood which option should I choose.

@iJeff_X The idea is to host my websites as well as some other personal services like Nextcloud.
I have readed throught their options and their Cloud offer seems to fit my needs.

@jlhertel linode has servers in frankfurt. or do you not want linode specifically?
