This is how I feel about the web today, too. It used to be this amazing resource, but now it is barely recognizable.

“Today I got some moving crates from a self storage place down the road and gave them to my partner. She texted me a few hours later that it isn’t obvious how to fold them, and I smugly went to the web to help her.

In the web of old, there is a good chance I would have found some unknown person’s blog post or even Geocities page that proudly showed how to do that.”

@jish Attention. I have captured a puppy and placed in a small ill-fitting cage. Every time someone tells me to "Google" something in the same amount of effort it would have taken to copy and paste the link, I will kick that puppy. The guilt of that puppy's fate lies on your shoulders now.
