I have this aching desire to do some systematic analysis of revealed desire in leisure and media consumption.

But it aches because I both do and don't want to do it, which is its own kind of revealed desire. Something about the joy of ideating instead of acting.

One thing that I've found is that if I've thought up a solution to a problem, I lose the desire to finish, because in my brain, I'm already done.
