I have to give a huge praise to people behind the Conduit #Matrix server!
It was super easy to set up and when I had problems I asked their Matrix channel for help, everyone was super helpful!
I managed to get my server in such a weird buggy state that I had to use a branch made for me lol. But the lengths @timokoesters went just to fix my issues was amazing!
If you want to set up a small server I highly recommend Conduit.rs!!!
@huntra I’ve been testing the conduit official home server for a while and it seems to work well. I might try hosting it myself in the future
@huntra@mastodon.technology @timokoesters@mastodon.social conduit is nice, my girlfriend and i got it running on a 486 and it was about as usable as synapse on a 4gb vps
