Symmetrically dividing bacteria do not die of old age.
Some yeasts and simple multicellular organisms too can live forever.

Humanity is now connected and interdependent in complex ways.
And we fall ill as a single organism, too.

On this hyper-connected way, the humanity-organism will become able to age and die, taking most of us with it.

And rising authoritarian tide does feel like aging or illness.

-living and/or ships could keep distance healthy and communities - small.
