The term “#fakenews” (or “#misinformation”) has been introduced very deliberately and consciously into the vernacular of American and international politics as the catch-all justification for #censorship.

So many people, inside and outside anarchism, treat it like it's just a rebellious subculture that hates cops. Yeah it's that but way more importantly it's a philosophy how to live and thrive and love. There's so much hierarchy ingrained in our society; to stand against that and devote ourselves to cultivating our freedom and power and love, and by extension of that to hate cops and be edgy sometimes, is already rad af. Live passionately. Don't just circlejerk. Spread your love.
I resent that my computer, the most complex and powerful machine I'll likely ever use, is turned on by some pissant little five-cent plastic button like it's a shitty VCR from the 90's. I want a massive ornate copper knife switch, as long as my forearm, with the lower position hand-lettered "HALT" and the engaged position labelled "COMPUTE." When I go to use my computer, I want it to know I MEAN it.
fyi.. i would highly appreciate if #tchncs would get a few more monthly microdonations, i don't ask for much, just a few additional people donating $1 per month would do a huge impact and actually secure the infrastructure of tchncs.
I try to come up with actual numbers in a few days, however Liberapay is still not working and we're running partly on savings from the time Liberapay lost its provider, this is not super awesome. :)
