Is this kinda like
rd = OPCODE(opcode, rn, SHIFT(shift, rm, shiftAmount))
rd = OPCODE(opcode, rn, SHIFT(shift, rm, rs))
Is the shift param kinda like:
case 0: result = value <<< bits;
case 1: result = value >>> bits;
case 2: result = value << bits;
case 3: result = value >> bits;
Not 100% sure how accurate this is based on the manual I found.
@gudenau That's a lot of options to stuff into one 32 bit word.
@AskChip And this is only two of like 10 instruction formats.
@gudenau I have yet t oget into it but I have looked over Arm instruction sets. I lose all interest in assembly with the fewer instructions that are more than twice the complexity. This is why HLL's were written.
