In most tech spaces, your peers are more likely to attack your ignorance than enlighten you. It fosters an environment where questions are left unasked. Advice is not rendered for fear of ridicule.

I must say that this has not been the case for this mastodon instance. And it's one of the reasons I'm more likely to stick around and actually participate.

I don't know how long it's been there, but Google Play Movies & TV has a cool new feature where you can search all your subscription services, then watch junk for free. It's exactly what I thought Roku search would do, but doesn't.
