Writing CSS in 2022 is like ooooh, wide support for ✨ CSS grid! ✨ clip-path! ✨ columns! ✨ and at the same time uuurgh I want subgrid! 😭 and shape-inside! 😭

And because the answer involves not just creating the directive, but also subclassing the rst2html5 writer, now I remember why I unhelpfully left it as an exercise for then-future-and-now-current me. *cracks knuckles, cracks neck* I can do this.

I was searching Stack Overflow for a relatively obscure topic (creating custom directives in reStructuredText) and when I found the most helpful answer I realized it was one I had edited a year ago. Thank you past me and also sorry I forgot about this.

My experience as a gay man trying to date other men really made it easy to guess today's wordle in two tries.

Are we gonna talk at all about the fact that Young Justice season 4 is not only giving us wholesome gay content with Wyynde + Kaldur, but is also emphasizing La'gaan's polyamorous marriage with Coral and Rodunn and also they're expecting a child??!

I love to learn and read about a bunch of stuff. I practice #tsundoku without guilt and I'm slowly making my way through my ever-growing antilibrary. I recently got into #comics. I'm probably building something out of #Lego bricks right now, or doing #powerlifting, or trying not to maim myself learning #woodworking. These days I'm spending a lot of time rebuilding my outdated website.
