G-Droid 0.7.0 is now available on . This version shows apps similar to your installed apps and apps you might also like. Give it a try! This is a new experience to browse apps of the F-Droid repository.

Another good thing: it does all these things without stealing your data to analyze it or do any kind of tracking. 😍

@gdroid When I tried G-Droid last it refused to install applications.

@gdroid what about the option to add "The Guardian project" repository?

@zital
Allowing other repositories is on the list of things to do. See: gitlab.com/gdroid/gdroidclient

It is a highly demanded feature, but a bit complicated, as the pre-calculated app similarities are changing with each repository.

Stay tuned.

@gdroid just checking the additional features compared to f-droid - amazing, I have been waiting for years for some features...

Why is f-droid no longer actively developed?

@gdroid can Gdroid be used alongside fdroid or are there similar integration utilities in order to allow automatic updates?

@yolo
Yes, G-Droid and F-Droid can be used on the same device. G-Droid is very good for finding new apps. After installing an app, F-Droid will do the automatic updates.

Automatic updates in G-Droid is already on the list of things to do. See gitlab.com/gdroid/gdroidclient
