does anyone use a pen display huion tablet?? because im having setting problems and i could really use some help

@legegg I might be able to help you if you use it with Linux.

George Bryant @gbrnt

@legegg Are they settings problems that might be shared with a non-display tablet? I ordered one this morning so if it's not related to the screen I might be able to help once it arrives.

@gbrnt no i dont think so :( i have a wacom tablet and it works fine

@legegg
What problems are you having? My Huion arrived and I'm having some issues in Windows too

@gbrnt no matter what i do, the screen looks stretched on the huion. so whenever i draw something, the proportions are all skinny because i my brain thinks it's drawing the correct size on the display. i checked the settings, and it says that the huion display (i use a GT-190) has a resolution of 1280x1024 or something like that. and i cant even change it

@legegg
And you've installed the Huion drivers from their website?

@gbrnt yup! i got the most recent one and everything

@legegg
What about the drivers for your graphics card? It connects by VGA, right?

The resolution of the tablet is apparently 1440x900, so that'll be why your image is stretched. As for why you can't change it, I'm not sure I can help much :(

@gbrnt im not sure where to find the drivers for my graphics card (i didnt even know that existed lol). It's weird tho because when I used it with my old laptop, everything was fine and there was no stretching

@legegg Definitely sounds like graphics drivers to me (no expert though). I said "graphics card" but since you're on a laptop it might be integrated into the processor. What model is your laptop?
