Odds and ends of rejected songs from Shirobon's other albums... yet still somehow great :D
Still playing Natural Selection 2 after 5 years. No loot boxes, no micropayments, constant updates. Admittedly they do sell additional content purely to fund development which has been, iirc, entirely handed over to community developers.
This is what game development looks like when it's driven by passion and not money- https://unknownworlds.com/ns2/update-319-anniversary/
Ah, the classic "Manufacturer wants you to install from their recovery partition preloaded with shovelware" error. https://mastodon.technology/media/s1ZhHaMoSDunJYw0vYY
Well since everyone else is doing an #introduction -
I'm Phil- programmer of Python-powered Pi products at Pimoroni. I maintain dizzying half baked mix of C, C++, Python, HTML/JS/Node code for various products.
I enjoy writing longform forum replies teaching people coding concepts, tips and tricks.
Outside of work I dabble in music, photography, tech blogging and trying to wear nice things.
Hi there 👋 let’s try this #introduction thing.
I’m a London based dev & trainer, focused on helping students build inclusive tech communities on campus. Because every learner needs a peer group to help them ✨sparkle✨.
I currently do that at GitHub, as the student program manager. In the past I’ve had developer relations roles at PayPal & Improbable.
Outside of that, I currently play a lot of DnD, and am also the bronze sponsor of the 💖 emoji.
Nice to meet y’all 🙏
It wouldn't be a Blinky Badge with external sensor support without firmware. But that's the bit nobody will ever see!
But I'm okay with that. My code is terrifying!
Full blown Python plus dozens of libraries for the Pi Zero in a ground up 60mb (ramdisk) Raspian build. https://mastodon.technology/media/EPNvIjSX_DOV_4Nimkc
Maker of tinkers' tech at Pimoroni - mostly Python on the Raspberry Pi, but also some PCB design, embedded firmware and... anything I get stuck into!
This Mastodon instance is for people interested in technology. Discussions aren't limited to technology, because tech folks shouldn't be limited to technology either!
