@ellotheth Looks like a decent effective frame to mount a generator so exercise need not be wasted.

Mine is a "smart" trainer and I don't have a regular power meter for my bike, so I think I'd need some additional investment if I want a generator AND all my training metrics.
@ellotheth I repaired the power converter for a professional class exercise bike once. It had readouts to display miles and watts generated. However, for all the bells and whistles, it fed the power to a huge resistor and dissipated that generated energy as heat.
